This year we are proud to partner with St. Mary's College for an intensive four-week Summer Shakespeare Conservatory! Aimed at rising 6th through 12th graders, the Conservatory at St. Mary's College offers an immersive theater experience rooted in passion for artistic exploration and excellence, in a wonderful new site full of spacious, light-filled classrooms, plenty of outdoor space, and a well-equipped theater.

For students entering 6th through 12th grade in Fall 2018

Students will spend the morning playing and creating in a wide variety of theater disciplines, taught by working theater professionals, and afternoons are spent in rehearsals. The experience culminates in a Shakespeare performance at the end of the program.

We are also happy to announce that aftercare will be available staffed by Cal Shakes Teaching Artists until 6pm for a fee of $15 per hour (no aftercare on the last day of camp). Please note that the Cal Shakes BART shuttle will not be available for aftercare students.

Cal Shakes may be able to provide transportation assistance to and from the Saint Mary’s campus and the Orinda BART station for a fee of $100 for the four week period. Further details regarding the BART shuttle can be found in the order form. Please note that priority will be made to students travelling by BART from long distances, and to financial aid recipients.
